Permanent eyebrow swelling is mild and barely noticeable. Brows will be darker and bolder in the first days of healing. Exfoliation of skin and some scabing are a normal part of the healing process.
*Aftercare for brows
Day 1: Gently wipe down brows one time every hour with Microtonic supplied for six hours. Then apply sparingly healing balm.
Starting day 2: Clean brow area with Cetaphil cleansing cloths every morning and evening. The apply sparingly healing balm two to three times daily.
Permanent eyeliner swelling is moderate. Liner will seem darker and bolder in first days of healing. Exfoliation of ski and some scabbing are a normal part of the healing process. Slight bruising is a possibility with this procedure.
*Eyeliner aftercare
Day 1: Gently wipe liner area with Microtonic supplied one time every hour for 6 hours. Then apply sparingly grape seed oil to area. You may apply cold no more than 10 minutes every hour for swelling and comfort.
Starting day 2: Clean liner area every morning and evening with Cetaphil cleansing cloths. The sparingly apply grape seed oil to liner area.
Eyeliner
* Do not wear contact lens during the procedure or for 24 hrs after.
* Bring sunglasses to wear home. Eyes may be light sensitive.
* Do not dye or perm lashes for 7 days prior.
* Do not use eyelash curler the day of the procedure.
* If you have had any type of eye surgery, consult with the physician about how long you should wait before having a permanent eyeliner procedure. Most physicians are giving a 2 month ok after cataract, lasik, and blepharoplasty.
Eyebrows
* Do not tweeze, wax, or dye brows for 4 days prior.
* Electrolysis should not be done for a week prior.
Lips
* If you get cold sores you will need an antiviral prescription. Physician usually instructs to begin taking it one week before procedure, for a 7-10 day course.
* If you have had any type of lip surgery, consult with the physician about how long you should wait before having a permanent makeup procedure on the lips.
